@aniey72 Well it definitely needs guts to simply launch something without a definite plan. But how did he get this idea and he was quite successful in convincing others too. Freedom251 top trended in fb,twitter now youtube . I guess while doing some case study he might have figured this out.
And people say India is intolerant.

India’s population is huge and culture and demographie are vast with very contrasting colors to it… And everyone has its own opinion as well(even absence of opinion is a form of opinion- “Zero Opinion”). That leads to views ranging from Extreme Tolerance (like in this case or Asharam Bapu or Home-trade etc etc) to extreme intolerance (yeh nahi hone denge, woh nahi hone denge etc etc). Well everyone has right to opinion and its a good thing, but the problem starts when people start forming opinion without getting into the topic (reading about it, talking about it, extracting information about it).

Things gets messier when people with ill-formed opinions are at power or starts over-powering the other half. The same happened here in case of Freedom 251, everyone got so overwhelmingly ecstatic that they ignored everything else and turned blind towards hard facts necessary for existence of a business.

In my earlier discussion, I was shocked to see the comments by some common faces of community and to realize how shallow they are in their thought process. And their indecent language just made them look uglier. But thanks to that discussion, it made me realize that the power of Internet isn’t in safe hands. And lots of measures have to be taken at lots of fronts to avoid such “160 character experts” derailing our nations progress path and our culture both.

That is very very true. Even I fell for that. I had this thing in mind that even in the worst case, I can still use it for call, message and whatsapp. That would have been sufficient for me. I never expected the phone to deliver all it had promised. But thank god I was unable to buy in my several attempts and meanwhile I read those articles in comments and that’s when it struck me that we supporting them in such a massive scale for whatever they are doing without any proper info is very very wrong.

And even I come under that Zero Opinion because I blindly do not support whatever one says me to or gives reason for. I need to have discussions and the thing should make sense to me, then only I can get an opinion.

Thanks Baroodji for your message. I have posted this deal in Dost & Dimes thread, not in Hot-deals… and it is just to bring to dimer’s notice that Ringing Bells have big plans, and what is the level of efforts behind those big-plans.

I am still hoping that not too many people have fallen prey to this company Ringing Bells. But Hey, we have another thread for blaming the Ringing-bells and exposing their short-comings.

Means the Ill planning and lack of experience isn’t a shortcoming ? They have promised apples out of melon seeds and now poaching gullible investor as partners in crime. Every business has to grow gradually unless it is reliance or paytm. If some flybynight operators comes in , others will definitely drag him like frog. The proper startup support does not exist in India ( presuming ) hence idea is Ill conceived and doubts everywhere.

+1 other startups have better roadmap and thought processes than these companies like ringing bells . I had an interview in one of the startups recently ( karza.in). Barood bhai it seems it somewhere related to ur industry. They had a team of 4 cas and were looking for some more in their team even when they were yet to launch their operations. And ringing bells says the adkom was demo unit whereas they contradict by saying the specs would be the same but not the form factor.

Ps: the company is into the process of launching 3 products. 1st is cloud based database of all loan applicants including all their online footprints from various govt and non govt websites, 2nd is monitoring the loan in a wholistic way by his online footprints alongwith his patterns of payment and stuff., 3rd is creating a cibil type scoring system again using online footprints, age, demographic and geographic criteria

In another News,

No customer was lucky enough to get another Smart-phone, “Smart 101” from this Revolutionary company Ringing Bells. The phones were ordered in first and second week of February with promise of delivery within seven day… After that Sh. Mohit Goel ji announced that the Smart 101 phones will be delivered by 25th Feb… And “Tab duniya jaan jayegi ki hum kitne kabil hai, kitne sachhe hai, kitne bharosemand hai etc etc etc”.

But unfortunately People are yet to witness the greatness of Ringing Bell Guys. “Smart 101” has not yet been delivered to even a single customer.. Moreover when media persons asked Sh Mohit Goel Ji to show “Smart 101” phone, then even he has excuses of not having that model (or any other model of Ringing Bell’s phone) with him.

PS: If find it really strange when Majority of the masses fail to identify such Fraud-on-your-face deals. I think the problem is in, most of us being ‘quick-opinionated’ without trying to read and explore enough about a topic. Such attitude needs to be changed.
