I had purchased Macbook Air second hand from Ebay.in. It was all fine but i wasnt aware of mac environment so i didnt check battery cycle that time Recently my macbook air is giving me issues very low battery backup and I am getting warning “Replace Soon” so i checked came to know that its been 1200 battery cycles Apple recommends battery cycles to be 700 to change battery.I had only used macbook occassionally so clearly its been used much before.Now i am looking for battery replacement for my macbook.How much will it cost in Apple authorised store?Can i go locally for cheap options.

Would’t suggest local options. I got one from Amazon US for my old macbook Air once and it didn’t work well.
Find out the price officially and then in local market, if the price difference is quite unaffordable then only go for local option else go with official Apple battery
