I don’t know how the problem started . I updated my MacBook air to latest MacOS last week and gone on a vacation for 7 days . yesterday when I use my Macair . it switch off automatically and sometime it restarts and shows " there is a problem" message . even it happens at 80%-100% charge and on battery only and also when plugged in . I am worried about my data which I want to recover . I can not lose them . Please someone guide how to recover my data . What could be the problem?

ah sorry looks like logic board failed for a 15 months old macbook air . Don’t know how much it will cost me for repair /replacement. Taking it to service centre . Tried all solution SMC reset to PRAM reset to all kind of resets
Took it to service centre. They charged me 1200 rs for diagnosis and ask me wait for one day for estimate of repairing .
Bought the Mac air at 60k and service guy is asking me 45k for repairing . Bye Bye Apple
Just apple things
I was using a HP laptop since 10 years without any major problem .
Please suggest me a new notebook . Sadly I wasted my money 60k in a product that not even last for 2 years.
Prepare for uncertain 40-50k repair cost or pay 20-30k insurance amount to apple as extended warranty . I was thinking to buy a iphone this year but bye bye to apple forever .
Is there any “jugaad” now ??
Puchka bhai, why dont u revert back to windows? …
.
Well thinking to buy a second hand logic board from market olx and other place . I see lot of people selling logic board at very discount price like around 10k. Though I do not have time so going for a new laptop and get my mac repaired from outside later .
I don’t remember the channel name, but there was this guy from Europe who hates apple to the core. He has put up lots of videos to help others as to how to repair apple products (mainly for technicians). First check some youtube videos to see if you have access to the tools and know how to do the stuff. If you feel you are confident then go for it.
I had repaired one of those classic 30gb ipod few years back. The hard drive (yes they contained hard drives) had failed and Apple said they can’t repair as they dont have spares. I had checked youtube and replaced the spinning drive with a flash drive. Don’t use it anymore but still was working when I checked it last week
