Maharashtra allows home delivery of liquor
Maharashtra Government Excise department has allowed home delivery of liquor with certain guidelines and precautions which are to be followed during the home delivery.

How will they prevent delivery to under age kids? No, not all delivery persons care to check ID or are honest enough to deny after checking the ID. That can happen in a shop too but at least because of public scrutiny they will kick out the kids as they don’t want to lose their license. Hope they have thought this through

Hopefully other states follow this.. while hiking the price (to fill their coffers), home delivery idea is not bad at all. Plus, this is meds for some, (recently learned) hence essential.
At least people won’t come out and create chaos for the same.
