Medlife - liquid medicines seal tampering protocol or some fraud.

I ordered MX 2% lotion , 2 bottles of 300₹ each .
I found top seal of box was unsealed. Inside of bottle was packed but that cap can be easily removed and put again as it is.

I called their CC who said, it’s protocol that they need to check batch number and all and being liquid they need to make sure if any damage is done to bottle or not…is this their policy ? Or kuchh toh gadbad hai..
