Mi Protect / One Assist Buy it or not? Please advise
I recently got my Redmi Note 4’s screen broken and got it replaced for Rs 3,313. I learned that RN4’s screen is prone to damage and thought I should have purchased Mi Protect along with my phone.
I called the MI Protect number (1800 407 333333), they forwarded my number to One Assist. Now these One Assist guys are aggressively calling me, they sent me emails with a link to ‘Buy Now’ button. I did some research about them and reviews to them are found to be bad – http://www.amazon.in/b/?node=3906...31
If some of you guys have used One Assist or similar services, I request you to please advise whether should I buy it or not.
Thank you
Here is the email, they sent to me.

Yes, you should have bought, now you can buy One Assist only. However, I am not sure these 2 are same or different.
RN4’s screen is pathetic. I am 3rd in my friend-circle who has got the RN4’s screen broken
There is one more OnSiteGo, any dimers having experience with them, please do mention…..

UPDATE: Sorry this is extended warranty
you have to use indian version tempered glass, most online and offline markets selling chinese version which wont fit correctly, most of the relatives and friend using that chinese version tempered glass make it ugly and prone to easy break in tip of mobile..
use indian version temper glass that cover fully and it is safe, atleast…use Armour guard cover, that protect your mobile even you drop purposely.
I have read too much about any tempered / toughened glasses being failed because of the curved screen of RN4. In fact my phone had back cover and a good tempered glass when it fell just from 2 feet and the screen broke
As I said in that thread I don’t have much idea about it.So,it won’t be appropriete for me to comment on the topic which I am not fully aware of.Hope you understand.BTW VU to catch attention of more dimers.
