Hi Dimers,

I have joined a China based startup last month and recently got to know that they give only 3 paid leaves for the whole year apart from 11 govt holiday like 26th jan, 15th aug, 2nd oct, 25th dec etc. I have worked with 4-5 different companies in the past but never heard about 3 leaves in any company. Upon asking China HR said she copied these leave policies from Club factory. Not sure if club factory also has 3 paid leaves or she read 14 leaves but got confused as 14 leaves including 11 hoildays and made policy of 11govt leaves and 3 leaves. I agree that China dont have that many festivals as India so may be for them govt holidays and leaves are same but i really want to know if its true that club factory or any other compay also provides only 3 paid leaves in total apart from 11 govt holidays. No sick leaves, no casual leaves, No optional leaves, No Regional leaves. Its kinda hard to believe for me.

Please let me know if there are any club factory employees or ex-employes or known employees who can give their valuable opinion or share experiences abt this kind of leave policies.


M so curious about this that i couldn’t resist myself asking you people. Please put some light on this issue.

Majority of the companies in india have 10 mandatory national holidays .. 18 Paid Leaves and 12 sick leaves or 12 mix of casual and sick leaves..
Just check in google what is the mandatory ratio which a company needs to maintain…
