Miui Dual apps bug fixed ?

There was bug in Mi dual apps. I used whatsapp and the image or video files used to get deleted or didnt show in app after sometime. It used to throw media file is missing or has been deleted error inspite of media being present in phone. So one had to go to gallery or file manager and access that media.
I experienced it on Redmi 3s prime But I guess its for everyone on Miui and not user specific
Is that fixed anyone who tried recently or in last 6 months ?

Maybe you should put the phone model which you used (when you faced the bug )
