Buy if u can
Boost moto E works with Indian carriers with some limitations
I had all three moto E2 versions Boost, sprint, verizon
Neither of them needs unlock to use it here that unlocking policy is only for domestic use (in US)
The information you are providing before is for postpaid devices not for prepaid
The only prepaid device that needs an unlock for even international usage afaik is the AT&T one
Correct your facts!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. So it doesn’t matter which service provider I choose it will work in India.

i was able to ship this one :
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/boost-mobile-motoro...

I tried to see whether it will work with GSM or not. could you please have a look for me.

Also do i need to root the device in order to make it work with GSM ?
As per this link : http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?...72
What I understood is we can change the mode and select between LTE GSM WCDMA etc etc ..
