need help amazon delivery boy cheated me

Today i was out of my house and i was suppose to get 2 couriers from amazon. and delivery boy came to my house and call me and told he has come to deliver the courier. since there was no 1 at my home and i wanted the courier on the same day that is by today itself so i told him to deliver the parcel to my uncle’s hotel which is next to my home. And i got msg saying that the order got delivered. but when i visited my uncles hotel he told me no one had visited to give him my courier. Also he showed me CCTV footage of today and i recheck it twice i also dint not see any delivery boy with my courier. now when i try to call the delivery boy he is not receiving my call. and afterwords his mobiles comes as switch off. Its two parcel worth Rs.580 and Rs.350. What i should do????

Tell them to give delivery proof/receipt/ receiver’s sign.

Ask them to send you copy of delivery confirmation signature. Hope you have not told them the other story of asking the delivery boy to deliver it your Uncle. Just maintain that you never asked him to deliver it anywhere else.

And do u think for Rs.580/- and Rs.350/- he will take risk with his job.
But don’t worry, just chat with amazon and get this sorted out. They will definitely solve this matter quickly.

as Ranjith bhai rightly said, better not to create any side stories or parallel stories.
also, besides AMZ the obvious point-of-contact has to be the local station of the logistics agency.
have you located any of their local numbers and or escalated the matter on that company’s central support line?
you have to be 100% sure (not just 99.99% sure) that there was no lapse or misunderstanding from your end (aka the relative story).
Even though in peak season, there are a lot of floating stock, fresh hiring happening all the time. people usually have all identification and address records of their temp contract labour too.
Hope the details are sorted out soon.
if it were an FBA item or order, one thing is sure that your monies are safe.
they (Amazon) will not make you suffer financially, but if something is wrong at your end (hotel side) or with that logistic firms local arm
then you got to take it up separately irrespective of whether Amazon makes good your order or not.

I cant get it , nither u nor ur uncle signed for the parcel. He came to your house but changed his mind after u wanted him to hand parcel to ur uncle
Since lot of ppl are at hotel did he hand parcel to some1 else, but u r saying he is not picking ur ph. He will hv to turn his ph on 2mrw if he has to deliver other parcel
And y would he risk his job 4such a small amount and amazon will return ur money dnt worry

@nollan1011 relax man, he will deliver tomorrow. You don’t even need to contact customer care.
Amazon delivery system is automatically updated after the allotted time of delivery, the courier guy will come to deliver the products tomorrow. He might not able to find your uncle’s address or he needed proof of delivery and probably that’s why he didnt delivered it at your uncle’s address.
Bro in my opinion its not delivered anywhere ..its still with courier boy . But due to the load of parcels they mark it as recieved.. same thing happened with me one day .. next day that courier boy com to deliver and surprisingly it was also from amazon . Blue dart.
After getting msg of delivery I had contacted him and he told me that he delivered the courier in my uncle’s hotel at counter. And after I visited hotel and came to know that he didn’t delivered the parcel I call him 5-6 times but he didn’t not received my call and afterwards he switched off his phone. And still now his phone is switched off.

exactly, happened with me many time , i got delivery msg in morning and got delivery in evening
They mark as delivered b,coz of their daily target, so dnt worry

Bro, onces I received the delivery msg I contacted the courier boy to confirm whether he delivered the courier at right place or not. And he told me that he delivered it at hotel counter. Where only my uncle sit. But actually he did not delivered it as I checked CCTV footage twice. And my uncle also told me same thing,
I think it will be delivered nxt day….mere sat bhi aisa hua tha 
amazon transport service or any other courier ??
possible: he might have delivered to a customer roaming around hotel cash counter 
Finally received my courier , he had kept my courier in my neighbor bar near my house and he told me he has kept courier in my uncle’s hotel.
I dnt knw wht to call person who don’t knw difference between bar and hotel.

overall – seems that you could have asked delivery boy to call u before he hand over parcel to ur uncle. That might have worked
