Need help buying a laptop worth 60k from Flipkart.
I recently joined this community and I notice so many shopping experts here so figured there would be no better place to ask this.
I am about to buy a laptop worth around 60k on Flipkart what would be the best payment mode to save the most?
1. Buying GV from dimers. – 6.5% approx
2. Using 2% cashback on IndusInd legend card and paying off balance using DCB elite card – 3.6%
3. Or any other method I have not thought of.
About (1) I’m not sure I can find 60k worth vouchers on short notice. (2) is easily doable as it just involves myself.
I am curious if someone has suggestions about (3) as I notice so many intelligent shoppers here and I may be missing many tricks as I’m fairly new here and to fetching good deals etc.
Please help if you had the time.

IndusInd Legend – 2% during weekend
SBI Elite – gives 750 FK vouchers trough Yono
HDFC Regalia First – Gives 5% upto 1000 cashback through smartbuy
ICICI Amazon Pay – Similar specs model not available on Amazon
Citibank – No specific deals
Yes Premia – No specific deals
Amex Cards – No specific deals
Any CC I use I would be paying bills through DCB Elite debit card for 1.6% cashback.

Yes the same laptop model with similar specs is priced much more expensively when I visited a Croma store today. So I thought I’d find it cheaper online.
The same model (equivalent specs) is not available on Amazon, otherwise I would have used my Amazon ICICI card for 5%. Unfortunately, Flipkart Axis is still “Coming soon” on my app, so I don’t have that card yet.
Buy Amazon Gvs from icici pay card and add to balance and then redeem for fk Gvs, Still it would give you good discount but not a peace of mind.
Using FK gift cards for 60K item is very very dangerous, FK is paranoid now a days about their GCs and can block your account.
And acquiring these gvs from dimers is also quite risky!

Don’t buy Flipkart gift card. You will be in deep water. Your money gone to Flopkart fund. Don’t buy gift card. If you have money pay full during the sale. Not risk your money by buying Flipkart Gift Card. Flipkart is fraud. They are master of cancelling order and Account block. Be safe. I don’t know what the best but other dimer may suggest you. Don’t buy Flipkart gift card from any person . 60 k is a big amount for me and I think also for you. So, it’s better stock money in Amazon with 2 step verification. Buy from Amazon .
I’m looking for an Acer Predator Triton 300 model and Amazon doesn’t seem to have that model.. I’d have preferred buying from Amazon too otherwise

In case of return your money would be locked in FK and you’ll have to use that within a year. Be careful.
HDFC Diners Club Black usually has 15% cash back on FK & Amazon, so you could as somebody with that card to help you (Max: INR 7500)
PS: Laptops with much better configurations are available at lower prices in surrounding Asian countries, why not plan your spends, get free air tickets and buy it outside ?
This is how I buy mine. Also, if possible, don’t buy a laptop right away, hold on till end march. Most current laptops are going to see a big drop in price when AMD 4000 series hits the market.

DCB Elite 1.6% cashback is now only possible via mobikwik as paytm also recently removed(mostly,now only rupay debit cards allowed while visa/mastercard have 2k transaction limit) debit card payment option for cc bill & judging by the trend they too should remove it in future.
You will not get warranty on models purchased outside unless it is international warranty & similar spec models are available in India. MSI does not have international warranty for India(aka international warranty for MSI not applicable in India) while Acer international warranty terms & conditions are too much(in short they say you may have to show your flight ticket/passport to prove you are just visiting India 
). Dell & Asus are your best bet(but do check the conditions of transferring warranty to India if possible).
No customs,just buy the laptop & take it out of its packing & carry it in your cabin luggage.
Yeah I’m hoping it goes on for sometime before being stopped on Mobikwik too.. But just to be safe I’ll pay the dues on credit card immediately to get the 1.6%
I only got the DCB Elite account opened last month. 
For such a high amount, I wouldn’t trust any online platform unless it was America.
Buy offline even if you get zero discount.

Don’t go for online.Best to buy in Reliance digital with payment offers
