Need help for Amazon again

My friend made her amazon account with my referral link. She made her first purchase as Coolpad note 3 lite handset. Unfortunately she received a defective handset. She contacted Amazon and they replaced her phone after watching defect in that.
But now, Amazon is neglecting our refer benefit by saying that She had replaced her first order so you both will not get any refer benefits.
When she asked what was her mistake if she received a defective handset, then amazon cc just disconnected the chat session by saying that We can’t help you anymore in this matter.
Please give me any suggestion what should we do against Amazon?

yes, rightly said by kanz, contact them again and tell them that it’s not returned, it’s replaced due to their fault. So, they have to add referral benefits. If cc disconnects, call toll free number and escalate the matter.

cant comment as i have never tried refer and earn or
never got any product from amazon with asituation of replacement…
But still you can email them email the same msg 10times thats what i do when i dont get any rply
or
call toll free number and say them
as its amazon
If your problem is not solved yet from Amazon cc, you can contact them on Twitter or through email. These are also best options.

At last, the senior executive told that my friend must not have signed up on the same day when I sent link. He argued that If the person (to whom you are referring) clicks and doesn’t make its account (Within that day of click) , then we will not get refer benefits.
Now its 4-5 months old story that she made her account on the same day or not. So I accepted at last
