if you are keen on HP and AmazonIN, then you cam consider on those filters after checking for the SKUs (units) which have the BTC offer benefits on them.
digging and recreating all posts may not be feasible.
do have a look at the HP authorised distributors/dealers who sell on-line too > -is.gd/hpbtc2015 [Note that this information is from an year back when their BTC 2015 offer was ON. the updated list may vary.]
EDIT: @biki012 since @Parth bhai has added the current and up-to-date link below you may please refer to the same for the list of the present dealers list with on-line presence who are participating in this. [snapshot of that list page saved for future reference too. archive.is/qY7hu
for tentative options on newer models to consider (sorry for the lame generic pointer); check → http://www.desidime.com/forums/dost-and-dimes/t... for some official review ranking by some of the reliable blog/sites.
for HP BTC2016 and Amazon; check the two links mentioned in this post → http://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online...
hope some of this was helpful in some way.
@biki012 Go for HP only. They are best. No one can beat HP. (except Apple)
I strongly recommend you to go any nearby shops or mall like croma, reliance digital etc. Check quality of different models personally in the price range you want. Because laptop nowadys comes with cheap plastic quality. Then compare it online. And if you are not in hurry then you can wait for some offers like bank offers or buy gift card of amazon/flipkart in discount to reduce price.
as @Spock bhai wrote about authorised sellers remember to buy from this sellers only to avoid any problem in warranty.
Thanx to all.
thank you for adding the appropriate current list of valid and participating retailers/dealers, Parth bhai. it would be helpful to those doing serious last mile research.

yeah i know you removed this but i just wanted to just concur and plus one ! to that
the first Hewlett Packard (via HCL) i used for self was way way wayyy back in early 1990s ! ahhh #Nostalgia
i would not get into too many valuations like whether Apple or Taiwanese Acer/Asus fare good or better
but, i personally find and have found HP products to be good, lasting purchases (even the mess that their Compaq buyout was, somehow the products turn out fair)
in lappys, used IBM Thinkpads, a Fujitsu and for professional use/from office also worked on Dell.
Found Toshiba and HP to be good value for the average user.
Fujitsu used to be a class apart.
now all these Taiwanese OEM makers turned brands (HTC, Acer,Asus) fare tops !

you welcome . thats Desidime.
by the way: did you leave some silent rep./karma ?
it would help and make for easier reference if you mention yourselves in it too.

i do cherish these small small token of thanks a lot (repeat: A LOT). there used to be a time, long back perhaps, but these very +6 would really make me swell with _ _ _ well i would be happy for even the 3 or 6 points and to daye i value those more than any.
sorry for taking it off-topic. and not putting you in a spot. i was a bit puzzled to get a similar rep log message the other day which could only have come from an admin or a moderator and i do not know who left it in specific : -? .so it was a general observation only.
I would prefer HP
