I am looking to get a new Mixer Grinder for house use.
There are so many brands out there with different features.
Hence, it is difficult to select the right one.
Please give your suggestion/review.

Yes expensive but best one
Go for Sujata, Panasonic,Bosch ,Preethi mixer Grinder
Bought Sujatha dynamix a week back, but jars getting heated even if used for 30 Seconds, any one faced this issue ?
Also little burning smell noticed everytime.. used 1 time for batter 3 times for chutney..
Pls suggest, return period will end in 2 days.
Not sure about heating issue, but I bought singer mixi few days back, its user manual mentioned that burning smell may come initial couple of days however it is normal. I did not observe such smell coming from it though.
Again, bought Sujatha dynamix.
Facing same heating issue, just for 1 min of usage, jar walls getting heated.
Can someone please check their mixer and see if it is common ?
No i am using from past 6 months. No heating issue. Only when you grind hard spices or pulses for long minutes it gets heated and that is normal.
Brought billion mixer grinder from Flipkart. Can vouch for it and probably the top notch billion product must be their mixer for sure….

Which mixy is suitable for Idli batter for soft idlies.
Please provide the links. Planning to buy during BBD
@andromeda @hsmhsm @dharmanath481 @Akash115 @aIIianc3 Please suggest. Price is up to 5000.
Go for wet grinder. Hands down.
A mixer makes the batter by chopping the pulses at high speeds. But a table top grinder grinds it the traditional way at slow speeds and also aerates it while grinding which results in fluffy idlys. This aeration is something that is missing in mixer process.
In the wet grinder category, I liked the elgi ultra make due it the conical stone unlike others which are cylindrical.
Both @hsmhsm and @andromeda, which 750w mixer grinder would you suggest below 5k other than sujatha?
I do not really have any favoring for a particular brand. Here’s what I would do if I’m in your shoes.
Narrow down list of models with 750W:
- Look for available features and the features I need
- Check for the required jars/attachments <- this is a mandate in my case
- Now the available brands/ratings/reviews. In case of reviews, I check negative reviews first and see if they are of concern to me.
- Last but not least, the warranty offering.
Note: Almost about an year back I sold off my 2 year old Morphy Richards Food Processor and I’m happy with my old mixer. This old mixer I remember is atleast 15 year old.
Go for sujata
