I have a Philips Led TV purchased 3.5 years ago. These Tv’s are good but cant play videos through USB properly. These TV are basically videocon TV with Phillips branding. Philips doesn’t make TV anymore. I would suggest to go for some other brand if you want to play movies through USB. Toshiba supports all formats. The TV itself has been good but the quality of remote is not good.
Hope you had done your research, if not DON’T BUY IT. Make sure you do some research before you buy a particular model. I have seen 2 50 inch TVs (cousin and a friend) and I didn’t like the screen quality in spite of being HD. Maybe some models might be good but do your research.
