Need your help
Ordered a sofa in paytm for 28999 applied code GOLD35 to get 35 percent cb. But after transaction its not showing any were that I applied the code and when I asked paytm care about this. They said you are not eligible for cash back as you have not applied. Nor they are allowing me to cancel the order as it’d furniture they are not allowing it to cancel. I made this purchase last night 6th Oct 9.27 pm and asked for cancellation at 9.40 pm seeing promo was not applied. Its not a small amount to neglect it’s around 10150 rs. Now I am locked I’m nether allowed to cancel the item nor honoured the cashback. Due to their glitch iam suffering
How should I proceeed ….either I want the item with cashback or I need it to be cancelled ..

If so cancel .
if not, bang them on twitter, tell it is your fault.
Either you give cashback or cancel it.
As per terms and conditions ..if we reject while delivery 25 percent will be charged and only 75 percent will be refunded.
I banged them in Twitter and Facebook no use..
Then I got an idea …I read terms and conditions one again found only seller has the right to cancel the order. But only seller name and his address was mentioned in the order conformation. I searched the seller in google…found his website.
At least found his contact no..messaged and whatsapped…urged him no to process the order. As I’ll lose around 10000..at last he contacted paytm care and cancelled it.
Lesson learnt.
Please make sure twice or thrice before ordering make for order items like furniture firms beds…as in paytm there is no cancellation policy from buyer end once ordered. You cannot be lucky like iam…what if I was not able to find the seller contact details…I would have lost 10k .
Also I would like to highlight the cancellation policy of leading online retailers
Pepper fry with 5 percent cancellation charges when the order is not shipped
Flipkart within 24 hrs
Snapdeal within 48 hours
Amazon within 24 hours
Paytm is the only site which makes the make for order items as instantly non-cancellable .so please check every details before you order a make for order item in paytm. I lost my one day sleep due to this issue.
The first ‘lesson’ is not to order high value items from Paytm. I have been the most harassed customer of theirs and hence learnt the lesson first hand.

Couldn’t get what you are saying as I don’t know Hindi.
FBing or twittering is of no use . they replied to my tweets and fb messages. But a standard reply that furniture is non cancellabke and it was mentioned in terms and conditions while ordering. Also I am not eligible for cash back as there is no promo code linked to the order.
Seller saved me.

non cancellable items are mentioned in terms and condtions of that specific item..
Most made for order items are non cancellable ..it could be furniture ..ornaments ..mattresses like coirfit…

This same thing has happened to me before, but since cash back amount was low I didn’t bother much.
I wrote to paytm regarding their ridiculous cancellation policy and sent their competitors cancellation policies.asked them to review their policies again…

It’s Paytm, it’s useless. Another avatar of Shopclues but people get better deals and DD gets handsome affiliate so all is well in the end.
Simple… Contact them via Twitter..
Tweet again them with your issue…
If unsolved still.. reject the order while shipping…
