Nokia CEO ended his speech saying this “we didn’t do
anything wrong, but somehow, we lost”.
During the press conference to announce NOKIA being
acquired by Microsoft, Nokia CEO ended his speech saying
this “we didn’t do anything wrong, but somehow, we lost”.
Upon saying that, all his management team, himself
included, teared sadly.
Nokia has been a respectable company. They didn’t do
anything wrong in their business, however, the world
changed too fast. Their opponents were too powerful.
They missed out on learning, they missed out on changing,
and thus they lost the opportunity at hand to make it big.
Not only did they miss the opportunity to earn big money,
they lost their chance of survival.
The message of this story is, if you don’t change, you shall
be removed from the competition.
It’s not wrong if you don’t want to learn new things.
However, if your thoughts and mindset cannot catch up with
time, you will be eliminated.
Conclusion:
1. The advantage you have yesterday, will be replaced by
the trends of tomorrow. You don’t have to do anything
wrong, as long as your competitors catch the wave and do it
RIGHT, you can lose out and fail.
To change and improve yourself is giving yourself a second
chance. To be forced by others to change, is like being
discarded.
Those who refuse to learn & improve, will definitely one day
become redundant & not relevant to the industry. They will
learn the lesson in a hard & expensive way!

They had wonderful “RUN” but pblm is they didn’t changed acc to trend…
Its a 3 days old news but today it went viral on social networking sites and at last it reached here as well.
Now let’s come to the point, Still I love Nokia & support them. Nokia was famous for its low range basic phones & nowadays everyone is busy with Android. Somehow each & everyone is missing Nokia not just bcoz they dint launched any Android device, its bcoz they stopped manufacturing basic phones which I am still looking for and will buy it blindly.

Exactly…their arrogance killed them.
Symbian was too buggy, never matured, and they never cared but I always liked their innovative thinking in designing the handsets.
Let’s hope they match the expectation of their customers and keep their feet on the ground in 2nd run.
Heard rumor that they launching Nokia C1 by September 2016 on Android.

i hope demand that you qualify that obsercusation [observation+accusation] by appending it with something like: under Nokia.
In the Ericsson days and prior to Symbian’s removed at the mercy of Nokia
it had the glory and commanded the confidence and respect that we did not even both installing any protection software. (though Spybot S&D was the most prevalent and a really great anti malware software).

just like Videocon has maimed, practically killed Electrolux (erstwhile partners of Kelvinator)
the same way, only after Nokia did maimed Symbian and brought it in the focus of the hacker groups and even otherwise failed to keep the community and progress together.
Lets see! which direct the future takes us, nobody knows.
They lost their momentum when they failed to capitalize when there was dual sim introduced and also they didn’t give competition when android mobiles was introduced by Samsung under 10k
that day is waiting for other mobile company owners too,
samsung , Xiaomi, Le, Lenova/Motoroal, HTC, Blackberry, iphone and Microsoft….
as above manufactureres are now in trending, but “XIaomi” and “Le” are in reaching more people than any in short time, also these two is concentrating on larger area with own knowledge sharing between their divisions..

Electric car and more luxury products
as these new companies are faster in developing and marketing products in par quality or even high qulaity with affordable price.
