It’s only for their client and you can open a trading account with them. It won’t be more than 300 I guess.

for money control: you can always see quotes and default ticker running..
but if you login, you can also maintain a watch list and mutual funds….also Stocks I visited.
the best part is you can see live CNBC Aawaz, gujarati version, english version & other TV18 business channels for free….(huge data plan or wi fi required)

Even we pay them in the form of brokerage and they provide real time updates. You are talking about the paid data version for applications like amibroker and the likes.

When you don’t trade what is the point in getting real time updates? Even if you don’t trade you can use the app as they still consider you as their customer and their app doesn’t differentiate. I guess the only fee you pay are the account opening charges which is 300 I guess, not sure though.

what i do…
trade via desktop or app of my broking firm….
BUT…the account that I have / or any one has, is not so good that I can keep checking it…. As if I have to see real time quotes, I have to login…its by entering user name, then password, then secure question, …also it logs off, if no activity for 15 minutes… so I need some other app which does not require login etc, to see time quotes. However I opened an account long back and there were no charges…and getting best brokerage rates – 1p/10p…. so need not open another account.
I understood the problem or discussion in this way.. I hope it clarifies my point of view.

Actually was suggesting OP and each one has their own requirement. If it suits the OP he would pick, else just discard my suggestion.
