Your CPU is 3570 right?

Yes, of course a GTX1060 will work. I would suggest you to go for a used card though. A 1070 can generally be had for around 18k.

The 1060 is a fantastic card for that price but you will be limited by the video memory 3gb in AAA titles. An Rx 570 would be good option if you have a freesync monitor. What’s your monitor and psu model?

You forgot keyboard n mice
Old PS/2 Mice n keyboards won’t work with most of the new MBs as they lack ports
Without these two, all you can do it switch on the PC, get the output on the monitor and force turn off again stuck_out_tongue

will 1650 require another psu too?

Don’t think so
450w should be fine, still google if you can find more info about this
Also it depends on the external devices you have included in the setup
For GTX1060 6GB I would highly recommend 550w or 600w (the one I have of CM)

Yes, it might be risky. But as long as you have warranty, it shouldn’t matter.

I can’t say about 1060 mini or 1650 differences as I don’t know them. 1060 is a solid card anyway, as long as you game in 1080p, I obviously mean the 6 GB version here. In any case a 1070 is a significantly better card than it. Try checking good sellers on Erodov.

Also I advise against Zotac. My friend’s 1060 Mini just died from nowhere after two years of usage! And he forgot to register the card within given time for that extended warranty thing and now Zotac doesn’t provide him any support. I would avoid Zotac at any cost from now on. Maybe try to stick with Asus, Gigabyte etc.

The 1650 is a 75 Watt htpc card not meant for gaming. Don’t buy that.

It has been ages since I bought a good graphics card and really confused between 1070/2060. Will be buying on amazon.com or best buy and would ask someone to get it. What do you suggest?

1070 is at least 70-80 USD more and I am not looking for some super gaming or anything. Just the one game I play (WoWs which doesn’t require a high end graphics card) and drive multiple displays.

Not sure about 2060
But 1070 should’ve twice performance than 1060
I have 1060 3GB, it plays almost all major titles @ 1080p
Even tried multiple displays option with no issues (4k + 1080p)
