old stock delivered - during Discounts?

I ordered 3 electrical devices during discount season in snapdeal. Shocked to see all the products delivered were 2015 manufactured and have dirt shades on their outer packs. is it common that we get old stock during sales time?

Same happened with me too. When I asked for return, they asked me to ship item my self
Just check, is the product SD GOLD fulfilled, then it would be done automatically.
Even if not, you can contact them and say can’t ship ask them to collect.
It was happened same thing earlier to me, but after requesting they picked the item and refunded

I ordered many items (20+) from Snapdeal during the sales last month. Faced this issue with two items, but it was kind of expected for the category of items (bath fittings). Since the dust was only on the outer packaging, it was a non-issue for me.
I got a museli, which had 1 day to expiry.

Send a photo of the MFD on Twitter and get your refund and throw the product. See Sd should warn it’s seller to no to indulge in selling expired or almost expired products
