OnePlus 3T India launch date confirmed for December 2
OnePlus 3T, will launch in India on December 2 and it comes with the new upgraded Snapdragon 821 processor.

OnePlus 3T, the new version of the flagship killer from the Chinese technology start-up, will launch in India on December 2. The company revealed the same in the Facebook video dare featuring its India General Manager Vikas Agarawal. OnePlus 3T was launched this month, and the phone went on sale in US, Europe, UK markets on November 22. OnePlus 3T marks a jump in processor, front camera and battery compared to the earlier flagship.

OnePlus had announced a ‘Truth or Dare’ contest on its official Facebook page for revealing the date of the new phone. OnePlus 3T features a 5.5 inch Full HD AMOLED (1920 × 1080 pixels) display with 401 ppi pixel density. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and the overall design, weight of the phone is the same as the earlier flagship.
In terms of specifications, OnePlus 3T features a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 clocked at 2.35Ghz with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal memory options with UFS 2.0. The rear camera on OnePlus 3T is 16MP with the Sony IMX 298 Sensor and 1.12 µm pixel size. There’s OIS, PDAF, 4K video resolution and support for RAW Image. The rear camera now has Sapphire crystal lens cover, which is not there in OnePlus 3.

The front camera is also 16MP in the OnePlus 3T smartphone, which is a bump from the 8MP front camera on the earlier version of the smartphone. Battery in the OnePlus 3T is 3,400 mAh (non-removable). OnePlus 3 has a 3000 mAh battery in comparison, so this one could last longer than the earlier phone. OnePlus has also added its Dash Charge support, which promises a day’s worth of battery life in just 30 minutes of charge.
OnePlus 3T has USB 2.0 Type-C charging port, Dual-nano SIM slot and 3.5 mm headphone jack. The company has promised Android Nougat update for both phones later in this year, although there’s no official word on when that will take place.
OnePlus 3T starts at $439 in the US for the 64GB version, which is around Rs 29,000. The 128GB version costs $479 which is around Rs 32,777 on conversion. If OnePlus launches both versions of the phones in India, it will cost more than Rs 30,000 if you go simply by conversion.
OnePlus 3 is priced at Rs 27,999 and while it has been discontinued in other markets like EU, US, etc there’s no word on whether the company will do the same here. The company has its own online store in India as well now, but the phone is also sold exclusively on Amazon India.
