Bloatware is all too common in the Android world, and the lack of it is something OnePlus was often praised for. That’s slowly been changing, though. With its latest smartphones, OnePlus has been pre-loading services and apps from Facebook that cannot be uninstalled completely, and that’s not stopping any time soon.

Effected devices: OnePlus 8, 8 Pro and OnePlus Nord

Now with data in chinese hand, new the market gimmick of oxygenos of clean os is falling flat.

Moreover, nord has design flaws as it breaks during bending

hmm.. not surprising though sad

thanks for adding the last link.

even IPxx rated phones too might bend.
but sturdiness-wise, most of these plaaticy phones (Nord too is plasticy) cannot survive tough times.

P.S.: i’m posting this from an old (Samsung) J7 that was thrown in anger across a passageway.
they said “tactile sensor” layer/touch is cracked, and body was visibly bent.
service centre wanted to replace the middle/frame along with the complete screen. Total hit about 3700 (material + labour).
took it to some hole in the wall repairshop young man.
he just ‘snapped" the PCB/middle feame in shaped and replaced the display from some other J7.
(total 2000. plus 100 bucks tip for urgenr basis help and extra effort. because phone is black and screen feom golden J7 had to be taken off that bezel)

working okay since beginning of the year.

even so called costly, good iPhones bend. so that isn’t new.
