Paytm merchant needs to pay charge of 1.99% + GST from Friday, 20th

Any body help on this.
If stop the services. Total merchant app stopped or not

It may not stop service.
May be you can still take payment to paytm wallet via normal transfer .
Only Bank transfer may be chargeable.

Lets see how it goes.
Phonepe / Tez are going to give tough competition to paytm.

If a small merchant avail the 1.99%+GST then why should they go for cashless?

Go for cash transactions as the erlier scenario

We small merchant and also employees only pay taxes to government because our transaction are white.
what about the industrials and builders…

We support our government for developing our country, but I don’t think so the bigger once think about this!!!!

Ironically those who curse mobikwich day night are those who are regular users of mobikwitch
They themselves are not able get rid of it

If Paytm is going to charge 1.99% + gst then Paytm market would be finished coz now a days there are no such great offers available in Paytm as well as small merchants won’t be able to afford this and y only small the big merchants will also not survive coz the high the amount the higher will be the charges…
Paytm will have to withdraw this charges or else it’s finished…
All the best team u won’t be able to survive seriously like this is a Removed

Can someone confirm if they’re still charging transactions? I was planning to get it going in my dad’s shop once I visit hi next week. Any reviews about the settlement etc?

Many shop keepers, especially dairy, stopped accepting this paytm business. Many are complaining that they lost money and don’t want to continue for unfavourable wallets. Many fear of txns not reflecting properly, not getting settled easily etc. Totally many stopped paytm.

Hello paytm team this very great to here that u guyz also started charging everyone.1.99% is not a small amount am also a merchant and i did 2000 rupess transaction for 47.50 u guyz charged me.. its a very big plan first coverd market now playing with merchant and customers..
