Arey, govt has requested all e-wallets and banks to remove transfer transaction charges for sometime. All wallets will remove transfer charges one by one
Yes, there seems to be some direct/indirect push from the government for these changes. However, another factor at play could be the willingness to make things even more appealing for the completely new demographic that these wallets are attracting. Everyone from push-cart vendors to water-can delivery people have suddenly started accepting Paytm in Bangalore. #PaytmKaro CC @sidbhai @masthead1 @getready
Any such changes in your city?

Maybe everyone will stop charging (even pvt banks included) transaction fee but SBI will not stop charging extra fees I guess. They might be planning to wipe their loan books clean by such charges.
Edit- By the way I can still see charges for bank transfer.

yes there are a lot of changes here in the Capital City.
1. Huge queues outside bank to convert black money of riches by labourers. They have hired so many people to convert the money having adhaar cards.
2. Everyone seems to be in possession of 500/1000 notes.
3. Even at panwala or mother dairy its common to see 1000 Rs notes and people fighting.
4. Huge queues in hospital, everyone wants to get operated right now.
5. Huge queues for Gas/Petrol even at midnight.
People have suddenly started living a lavish life.
But yes one thing is black money will be wiped out if not fully may be partially.
Not work ing
