i recently purchase one product from pepperfry. they said the product deliver by 5 may, 2015 . but on 5 may they change delivery date and said your product deliver to u by 11 may 2015. i call customer care and i said why they delay my order. cc girl start talking rudely . i am shocked on her behaviour and pepperfry Customer care service. finally i got my product tomorrow . when i open box i found that my mug and tupperware container are in bad condition and were broken. i immediately call pepperfry CC but they cut the phone no. and after so many tries they still cut the phone no. Then after 2-3 hours their phone came and i tell them about thier products which they send is broken and u know what they said . they said its your fault that u broken it and we send good products always.

12 orders during payumoney 90% offer. . But nothing is broken or less quality. .. delivery also 3 came on 3rd day 4 on 4th remaining received with in a week.. One can’t be lucky enough for 20 times IMO. .. They are good for me after Amazon. ..Even flipkart is giving low quality items by inflating the prices. .

Let’s say, 100-150 items so far. Of which 20% have one defect or the other. Recently bought a clock for a friend which was completely broken. Still waiting for a feasible solution…
Also ordered many so far like 30-40 items had problems like tupperware damaged oil can, dustbin damaged, duplicate products…etc for say 5-6 times, they resolved all these to my satisfaction. They some times cancel order and refund money, I lost coupon discount few times. They do not refund coupon. They should issue coupon also if order is cancelled by them. I even bought 20K fridge too all fine.

Update: Today morning two delivery men from pepperfry came to my home and gave one wall clock in gift wrapped box. This clock was the replacement for the broken clock I had received. They came from baroda with pepperfry van to deliver just a wall clock. 
Ps. I live near Dwarka, and Baroda is at least 700km away from my home. and pepperfry have logistics service upto jamnagar only, which is also 150km away.
They’ve restored the faith.

yup such a waste of the deal ! Mine Knife set for 25 was delivered last …. 3 days back !
I am having mixed feelings for them. Ordering for quite some time. Got benefited by their full refund for low cost items as well as having the product ( Slightly damaged. Complained about damaged product by sending pics. They asked to keep it and processed the refund ~200).
Packaging for some is good (Thankfully got all the glassware in proper condition) but, some are really bad. They should provide same packaging for all items except rough ones like doormat etc.
Delivery is a spoilsport. They don’t have any systematic approach for this. In my case products are delivered by RedEx and Bluedart only. I was very harsh about RedEx earlier. Mailed fiercely about the same as I was new then. But later on all RedEx are coming on time. Even before the expected date. Once I got caught by Gati. It was a surface service. And believe me no one was aware of where the product is. Though I never order high priced items, I was making calls to Gati (thankfully toll-free) on every alternate day and repeated mail to Peppfry. All asked me to hold the horses as they are trying to locate the product. I did the same but finally lost it after 20-25 days and asked them to refund my money. They did it immediately as it was a fault on their side. And surprise !! I got the product delivered by Gati after 50-55 days (near to 2 months).
So I shall always be skeptical about this delivery / refund part.
No idea about 5% cancellation charges as didn’t do any. Only return/ refund request raised and got full.
I ordered four items in the peppf-payu deal. All product arrived back to back. One was hanging for a while. But, after follow-ups it came finally.
So my verdict for Pepperfry is:
Shopping Portal: 8/10 (Really smooth as Amazon/ FK/ Jabong 
. Worked good with Payu / Mobik)
Offers/ Discounts: 6/10 (Most are user specific and inflated price during offer 
. )
Packaging: 6/10 (Amazon is the hero here 
)
Delivery: 6/10 (Mine came with REDEx & Bluedart only 
. Had errant exp also)
Quality: 10/10 (All products met as per expectations. Most are offer items 
)
Service/ CC: 8/10 (Good as of now. Hope nothing bad happens in future. BTW I feel it is better to stay low in heavy discount time 
)
I feel bad for them who did not get proper service from known e-tailers. I believe all e-tailers should be completely prepared before announcing offers. Should analyze all aspect of customer sufferings due to their ill preparation/ management before announcing offers. Almost all failed in this FK/ ebay/ Paytm/ Peppy/ SC/ Jabong/ Mobi all. Amazon seems to be an exception here…

Yes. Pepperfry has really bad service. I made a mistake in placing an order and ordered a wrong item . I called them on the same day and customer service says they don’t cancel orders now. They have apparently changed their cancellation policy. And its is not a small product. I had ordered a bed, made a mistake and now i cant cancel it or return it. I asked them to escalate the issue so that I can talk to a higher authority and that guys says the same. They cant do anything now. I regret using pepperfry!!

try contacting them on Twitter and there used to be a time frame for furniture related order cancellation

In Cass they started to customise the bed, who will purchase it now ?
I had placed an order at 1am in the night realized that I ordered the wrong size. I called them the first thing in the morning. There was no way that they would have started to customize the bed. They themselves said that even if you call within an hour they wouldnt have helped. Coz of the policy which they changed just 10 days back.
Really it becomed Wrost?
