As usual he never discloses the amounts of donation in Rupees which is the ideal way to do a charity but all these help & donations turns into a HUGE contribution to the nation…

also indian govt copied the idea of electoral bonds.
Though I never used to be a fan of Shahrukh Khan, but after reading about his charity works, I started respecting him much more.
He is the only Indian to actually have been awarded by UNESCO for his charity works (Real UNESCO, not the IT Cell wala unesco).
He is the first (and only?) Indian to be awarded World Economic Forum’s Crystal Award.
Not to mention he runs routine social work with NGOs and regular charity.
The best thing about his charity work is he usually doesnt advertise or mention about his charities everywhere, which is the correct way of doing charity.
He is one of the richest actors in the world. He should be doing this. But still, as far as charities are concerned, this man seems to have a heart of Gold.
He is actually not one of the richest actors but THE RICHEST actor in the world…
The people who have never given even a single rupee to a beggar in their lifetime, criticizes him & always try to link him with Pakistan just because of his religion….
Many people don’t know that SRK’s father & great grand-father both were freedom-fighters for India…
P.S. I don’t think any other actor except him does huge charity works for Acid-attack victims through his Meer-Foundation…He has also built special Cancer treatment departments in several Indian top hospitals…

Some guys like Bills gates, Azim Premji..they don’t use their company names (Microsoft/Wipro or whatever)..they maintain separate NGOs and donate + do wellfare activities via them (Also More Publicity means more donations even for NGOs)
All that Fuss about Akshay is because he holds canadian citizenship + makes patriotic movies here + he is very open about his political inclination..so there will be criticism even if he donated on his own will/ compelled to do it
