PhonePe charging extra for payment through credit card?

I did two payment for 1k each using phonepe and selected credit card for payment.
The transaction was for 1k each however in CC statement it is coming as Rs. 1010. Transaction were done on different date. Anyone else in similar situation?
Just to clarify, I did not add to wallet using CC (not sure if phonepe allows)

This 1% extra charge usually happens when you use Credit Card for fuel payments.
Though you might have received SMS & Email for Rs.1000/-, but the extra 1% charge is seen in the CC statement.
If it shown as 1000 on PhonePe transaction log, you may check with your bank in parallel.
I also think the same. Is it mentioned anywhere on PhonePe.
Yep pumped fuel for 1000 and got bill for 1010 but then refunded 10 for fuel surcharge.. Better to use like payzap or something which has scan QR or one of the other payment offers.. IF the pump accepts it.. They usually have large banners saying GO DIGITAL and cash backs etc.. But they don’t know how to use it.
It is a credit card surcharge and not from the payment gateway like PhonePE.. You can use your card and get the same thing.
As per my experience, PhonePe doesn’t charges extra if you do payment using credit card. What does the narration show in credit card statement for Rs 1010/- transaction?
