I wanted book train tickets, I thought as Phonepe does not have any transaction charges, lets book via Phonepe,
I ve added all the details and I ve added infant name and age 4 years, Paid via CC, Ticket booked, But when the ticket booked I could not see Any Children added in ticket,
I cross checked in IRCTC, I could see only Adults name and Birth number, No Child..

I checked again Phonepe(Tried to book again, went till adding passeger) I can see the name and age of infant auto populating..

Just wanted to update you people..
Did any one had any issue like this

There is no separate berth for infants below 4. Now not even half ticket & separate berth for kids b/w 5 to 12. Please do confirm with somebody else, I remember seeing this news in papers

Yes. Only adults are given seats and hence kids doesnt matter if they are not taking up seats. You are fine … Noone actually bothers for kids in Trains he he

Yes, I know there wont be any berth for Child, but last time when I booked, I got Child:1 his name and age, so now, I should get the same na?
I can understand that there wont be much problem, but I dont want to take risk with family.
I dont want some one else to face the same problem..
So was updating and understanding if any one faced it..

I booked 1 ticket 2 days ago with 1 infant (2 years)…In the ticket there is no mention of child.

Infant’s detail are not shown on ticket.
For assurance, you can confirm with customer care through email.

0-5 years child details won’t be shown, 5-12 details shown with berth or without based on the selection you make

plz recheck last time booking. I regularly book tickets for my family with infants , i input the name and age of infant on irctc page, but i never got name of infant printed on ticket. This is normal.

Not only in phonepe, even in in IRCTC website also it won’t show.
This is regular process only. Nothing to worry.
