Planning 4 a Sikkim Trip - Feb end, Need help n guidance
Hi,
Me and my friends 5-7 people planning to visit Sikkim at the end of FEB 2019.
Any dimer had visited there previous years? Or any local dimer from Gangtok ?
Day 1 Feb last week
Cochin to — Silliguri/Bagdogra _ Morning Flight_. Then took a cab/bus to — Gangtok . Then stay there.
Day 2 – Gangtok—Lanchen ( stay )
Day 3 – Lachen — Gurudongmar lake — lachen ( stay )
Day 4 – Lachen, Yumthang vallery,Zero point — Gnagtok ( stay )
Day 5 – return via either Pakyong airport or via same Bagdogra airport.
- We are hoping to book flight tickets via flipkart as there is 750 Rs off for 6K+ tickets, Any other offers paytm, cleartip, MMT ?
- We need bikes at Gangtok . Is it safe to travel via bike during FEB end MARCH 1st week ? We are actually looking to experience Snowfall. (If anyone has any contact details with such providers, pls share )
- How about taking a full CAB service and stay provided by some tour operators. ?Google search is showing a lot of contacts.
- Haven’t booked any hotels as of now.

operations from Pakyong airport not vry stable. Flights get regularly cancelled. Better to stick to Bagdogra.
For 5-7 persons, taking a Siliguri to Siliguri SUV for entire trip would be better option. Two wheeler not safe on ice.
