Hello,
I’m planning to set up an indoor garden. Do you have any suggestions for plants?
Also any idea about purchasing plants at reasonable rates in Bangalore? or should I order online? http://www.rootedgifts.com/categories/view/g...ra

This site is good for information.
I hv always bought from local nurseries so cant say abt the quality and price. U too shud by locally wher u can choose ur plant depending on its size and health.
U will also find a customer help number on the site. I dont know what they help with.
Song of India, peace lily, umbrella tree, creepers like money plants and palms are good. some plants dont even require soil like lucky bamboo and some succulents.
The choice of plants depends on
whether u r a beginner also it depends if u want low maintenance hard plants.

I had a lucky bamboo and some unknown plant at my desk of my last workplace. Apart from that, I’m totally new to all theses stuff. I would prefer something low maintenance considering the reliability of my maid.

I was about to visit Lal Bagh. Unfortunately, this week was bit hectic and haven’t got time to look into this.

I’ll definitely update about the progress here. I stopped asking my colleagues about gardening after they started bragging about their uncle’s garden in Toronto. Last Friday, I talked with a lady while taking an Uber pool and she offered some money plants to me. I’ll get them on next weekend. Progress is bit slow due to some other priorities. But I’ll setup it anyway in coming weeks.
I talked about this to few before 3-4 weeks ago. Even though I was busy and totally out of it, I got few beautiful glass vases with lucky bamboo and some money plant from a family friend. Seems like aunties are crazy about gardening. She even promised a terrarium on her next visit. Probably this is gonna be great thing without much effort from me.
