Plant something in this Corona Lockdown!
Tomato plant takes 60-80 days (bearing homegrown fruits)
to evolve from nothing but seeds.
Do share what you are planning to plant in the coming days
Share pics, how you are taking care so we as a community can learn together.
I am trying the first time to grow something from seeds
Used disposable glass to germinate seeds.
The process took just 4-6 days and a couple of leaves arrived

By the way, which soil is this ? @saucap
Last time i buried something in soil police came looking for it. Need to choose wisely.
PS:- We have coriander planted and some kind of pea whose english name i don’t want to search “harbhara” 🥰

Tomatoes are a good choice to plant in small spaces. Very rewarding to see the cherry red tomato once it is grown.
I also wanted to try growing yellow and red capsicums- will have to wait till lockdown gets over.
After how many days?
Today, sown green capsicum and one other variety of tomato seeds
The good thing is for the first 25-30 days, we don’t need a big container,
so we can start the seedling process till the Corona lockdown is there.
All we need is a handful of soil + empty little box or disposable cup
Hi everyone
Few months back there was a post on Desidime which mentioned how to grow various fruits and vegetables at home/kitchen garden.
It was very elaborate and informatives. I saved it somewhere but can’t find it now.
Can someone please provide link to that post, or any other such post.
Thank you!
Researched for 2-3 days, watched almost 50+ videos
Read almost 20+ articles beforehand
We can grow a tomato plant in containers, even 2 Litre cold drink bottles work well
There are different varieties available for containers.
Anyone plating something during this lockdown?
