My making one digit wrong, most probably system will throw error as check digit is inbuilt. If u make 2 mistakes than it can match to some1 else.

RBI floats draft framework for account aggregator NBFCs

The Reserve Bank came out with a draft regulatory framework for a new kind of NBFC which would act as an account aggregator to help people view their accounts across financial institutions in a common format.

Only companies registered with the RBI as Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) AA will be able to undertake the business of an account aggregator, the draft said.

“Entities being regulated by other financial sector regulators and aggregating only those accounts relating to the financial assets of that particular sector will not need to register with the RBI,” the draft said.

RBI has sought comments on the ‘Draft Regulatory Framework for Account Aggregator Companies’ to facilitate consolidated viewing of financial assets holdings till March 18.

The proposal said an account aggregator will not be able to undertake any other business other than account aggregation. Further, business of an account aggregator will entirely be information technology (IT) driven.

Initially, only financial assets whose records are stored electronically and are under the regulation of the financial sector regulators — RBI, SEBI, IRDA, and PFRDA — would be considered for aggregation.

“An account aggregator will not support transactions in financial assets,” the RBI draft said.

The RBI will regulate and supervise the activity of account aggregation with a view to ensuring that the services provided and the terms at which these are provided conform to prescribed standards.

At present, persons holding financial assets such as savings bank deposits, fixed deposits, mutual funds and insurance policies do not get a consolidated view of their financial asset holdings, especially when the entities fall under the purview of different financial sector regulators.

Account aggregators would fill this gap by collecting and providing the information of customers’ financial assets in a consolidated, organised and retrievable manner to thecustomer or any other person as per the instructions of the customer.

The investors will be able to avail the service of an account aggregator purely at their option, RBI said.

I’m Amex Credit Card user for last 13 years.Presently have a Gold Card and annual charges also waived off for 5 years. They offered to upgrade to Platimum, but I declined. hey also gave a Gold Charge card, again with no annual charge for 5 years.
In terms of services, Amex is the best.

have few queries. pls clarify.
1. for 1000 points we need to make atleast 1 txn of minimum 1000 amt every week of the month right?
2. how do they count the week?
3. any benefit of getting complimentory add on cards which are free of cost?
4. from second year on wards would there be separate fee on addon card apart from the primary card fee or are the addon cards free for life?
5. do we earn normal points via addon cards?
6. can we earn thos bonus 1000 points per month on addon card apart from earning on primary card?
7. can addon card on be given to bro/sis?

Merging is possible as Syed told, I have yet to apply the add-on card, which is normally given to dependent only. + spouse .

Jusr do 4 transactions anytime during calendar month, not as per billing month. If you do 8 transactions of 1000 each during calendar month anywhere, you get Bookmyshow voucher worth 1000 under monthly blockbuster offer. Offer valid till June 30,2016.

Transactions done on add on card considered along with primary card.

@A2Zdeals, i have amex mr card. I am trying to refer my friend but it says, account detail u have entered is not eligible for this referral program.
So does AMEX MR card holder can’t refer any1, is it so ?

I have Amex gold charge and Amex MRCC and I earn 2000 points each month on spends of Rs 10000 (1000 × 10). Reward points on both are clubbed together.
