Hello DD Family,
I have a lenevo g40, whenever I opened its back for resolving some issues it won’t turn on again
Last time i opened its back to replace keyboard, then it won’t open again and a nearby shopkeeper said that he has replaced IC and charged 1500 rupees
Today i opened it to resolve the charging issue :sad: now charging is OK
BUT it is not turning on :sad:
What should I do ?
Please help I need it my laptop very badly ,please

Take out battery and adaptor… Press power button 10-15 times… plug in adaptor and start… see if it works?

Most likely problem is that you have either not connected some cable ( or something else) or haven’t connected them properly.
So here’s a quick guide from iFixit
While I do encourage repairing stuff on your own… but first get the all the necessary information and some basic skills along with tools.
And only work on devices where warranty is already ended.
Don’t attempt computer repair work if you can’t distinguish between a laptop RAM and a Desktop RAM. That’s the basic rule of thumb- If you Don’t Known the Basics then Don’t Attempt.
