Nothing against op
I cant understand why these topics are highlighted on a model suicide. Why we are giving her so much of importance. Even farmers suicide who are the real heroes, but we rarely discuss on these type of topics. When a common man suicides he/she remains limited to local newspaper. Op i am just posting in ur thread not against you, i know your thread is on a different topic. Even a special thread created on her suicide. Even news channels are repeating it from yesterday. May i be harsh in my words but its my opinion.

May be because, she is quite famous with Balika vadhu TV Serial
May be because, everyone knows her
Trust me, everyone from my home including my grand father and grand mother are fans of her. They used to watch this TV Soap daily until she got replaced by someone else. There will be lots of others similar to my family members
Its human tendency to care for someone we actually know (doesn’t actually have to be a real life acquaintance)
We can’t react for everything and everyone around the world right?

Most of these actors prefer leaving alone….n her present jobless state mayb because of her selective nature n continuous trying different things. But the mass scale appreciation name n fame Wht she got is real tough thing to attain for….in just a span of 4-5 yrs…she has earned in crores with no godfather in the industry. She was really the chosen one. But how she handled it carved her destiny. Such name fame is not easy to attain.

one should learn how to lead life, when low confidence.
Ups and downs are common in life
god father should be there to take care at difficult time
one should learn to lead life with less utility, to know the value of high utility.
The Samething is happening with youths now a days, more marks competition (students), high salary competition(professionals), etc, if they dint find any solution, they go with above solution https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_sad.gif

Fame is always dynamic,
The ugly Bollywood does not recognize the talent and even the public does not recognise until trumpeted on all channels , same time crap like masti, kapil are popular despite no merits.

Nobody should aspire like flybynight fame, many exmples like jiya, hina and divya r there. Not only TV, Hema was artist in painting, who was killed.

But, young stars cant save the money earned from initial success , perhaps the fake ego or status level apart (so called) by public does not allow them to live the life of mediocre.

They should learn from Neerja bhanaut, kangna , Priety etc. Good time should not be used for enjoying but even for taking protection for bad time.

One Stich in time saves nine.
( money/ relationship/ skill / kindness etc. )

Bhai ji, these your thoughts naa? plus one to >> perhaps the fake ego or status level apart (so called) by public does not allow them to live the life of mediocre.

any sometimes they just go on repeating whatever it takes to be in the limelight.

or >> http://www.google.com/search?q=reema+lamba+with... trying to get clicked with every Tom D and Harry.. hoping that their celeb status rubs off to them too.

I found that opinionated half baked site (TLIndian) too superficial long back and so never read through ony of those link.

I find it odd that they use the terminology “our generation” .

whom are they identifying in that category?

insecure and easily swept off the ground realities people are easily disoriented to take irrational or extreme steps.
of any generation.

@Juneja ji the farmers usually do not adhere to the picture perfect notions of physical beauty nor have three or four make-up artists and hair stylists working on the ‘acceptable’ image that the really high pressure world of celluloid and idiot-box demand.

besides, unlike the protagonist, the farmers commit suicide immediately upon joblessness and do not join a zillion reality shows to survive on some earnings and limelight.

Farmers actual lives are a reality show and is too bland, boring and repetitive for the sleaze-ball gossip media and the even more sleaze-ball people who feed on the gossip.

the actual rate at which customers gets the produce of farmers – has any one thought of that

when we go to retail shops for fruits veggies and groceries – the charges are almost double than what the farmer gets.

in recent time green chilies sold in whole sale is around 50 – 70 and in retail around 140 – 150 per kg

its the middle man who is making a good profit…

also the govts have failed to tackle this issue….

I do also belong to Agriculture Backgraund. This year Production in our Farms is 50% Less comparred to last year due to Bad Weather conditions and Rainfall at wrong Times. Finally, The Selling Price per 100Kg Wheat is 1250Rs only, Now in City, you can see peoples getting Wheat Flour, from an decent brand company such as Ashirwad Ata at about 27 Rs Per Kg from Malls like Big Bazaar. So you can see that Farmers like me getting even less than half price of final product reaching to common Man and middle-man like Broker in my village making profit in crores every season without paying any Tax to Govt. There is no Achhe Din for Farmers who selling Wheats for just 12.5 Rs per Kg and also for common people who buying Wheat flour for 27 rs Kg.

Actually people tend to miss/forget some basic facts into consideration and media trial also doesn’t help

1. Do you even know how much freight is there for making it to the local mandi’s. It includes Vehicle Fare + Loading Unloading Labour at Farm.

2. Do you know that there is weight loss of 1~4 kg on every 50 kg from Farm to Final Destination. Who considers that?

3. Freight Charges from Local Mandi to Destination Mandi + Labour Charges who considers that?

4. Farmer’s liability ends when it is sold at the farm. To make it reach to the final customer the liability lies with the middleman because of vegetables being perishable in nature. Do you want them to take risk for free?

5. A simple logic – When Tomato rates are low such as 10/kg you purchase 4 kg and thes local shopkeeper (who is also poor) makes Rs.6 (assuming) because he needs Rs.400-500 to pay rent and earn something. When the rate rises to rs.40/kg you purchase 1 kg but unfortunately the local shopkeeper has to make up for it because he has to earn Rs.400-500 daily to make his living. He charges you Rs.48~Rs.50 and you say ohh look he is looting us.

5. You know that local shopkeeper’s don’t purchase the fruits/vegetables in cash from Middlemen. They are financed by Middleman. The cost of finance and risk of loosing money who will add this cost to product price?

PS → I hv left many points. Go to the ground and you’ll know the reality.
