Industry experts have lately suggested that Jio in 2019 is unlikely to chase customers in the way it did over the past two years, given the strong revenue and subscriber growth. It was expected when JIO came. JIO’s ARPU is high than all operators. Cheapest plan in JIO starts from Rs 98 only while people used to manage 1-2 months without recharging much. (Missed call era toungueout ). Now you have to pay for incoming calls as well because of less IUC charges.

Actually JIO migrated most of the users from 2G/3G to 4G and pay instead of asking first to pay for 4G and use.

I am also on you side. I rarely need to make call or use internet (I am on WiFi mostly), but I am forced to use this as normal outgoing call charges 2/2.5 paise per second without any plan.
