I have a query…
I am preparing for bank exams and have shifted from one state to another, I am confused what address to fill in application forms… I don’t have proofs for the new address and not living anymore at the address I have proofs of. kindly help if anyone have idea regarding this.
Also what will happen if I have community certificate issued by one state and apply for vacancies of other state, will the reservation be considered???

you may communicate about your concern with local post office.
I think, they must be having a solution on this.
Many times I came across few address like below
PO Box number XYXYXYXYXYXXY, New Delhi
give your permanent address. as far as reservation concern central services like bank and railways it doesn’t matter but state services you will be treated as general candidate. give address only which you got proof like aadhar pan . pan is must for bank exams.
You don’t need any address proof for applying to bank exams. You can give your present address while filling forms. As they release admit cards online so you need not to worry for postal service’s.
State vacancy or reservation does not come in picture for IBPS PO.
For IBPS RRB, you need to know local language of that state from which you are applying. Even if you know some other state’s language, I would still suggest you to apply from home state as they prefer home applicants in interview.

I meant that at the time of allotment there is a document verification done, for that purpose I am concerned, if I give my present address (I don’t have proof for this) for the permanent address part and they ask for any PoA there will be problem for me.
And if I mention address as in my PoA I wouldn’t be there for any documents if they post (atleast after allotment) or any police verification (I heard it is carried out to check if the applicant has any criminal background) then also I will be in problem.
Am I over-thinking on this??
If you give two addresses, on both the addresses police verification will be done. He is thinking right, this will become headache at the time of joining.
As I said, you need to give address to respective banks at the time of joining only. Banks are not bothered about addresses that you gave earlier to IBPS.
