[Question] How to pay credit card bill from another credit card?

SBI credit cards have this option at low interest rates

These days most (if not all) CCs have option to pay by NEFT where your CC number can be given in place of account number and the IFSC code is the code of their credit card operations branch.

So you have following options to pay your CC bill:

CC-1 → Shmart or Citrus or SBI Buddy App → NEFT directly into your CC-2 or NEFT to your bank a/c and from there pay bill.

I have done this in the past but please read T&C before proceeding as they may have changed in last 1-2 months.

Read somewhere that if you transfer your CC dues of another CC to SBI CC then you won’t be charged interest on that amount for 3 months

Bhai oct me Amazon se axis cards khareed liye thae khoob. Fir CC bill pay karne ka paisa bacha nahi…. fir yahi kiya… 10k shmart se, 10k SBI buddy se, 3k citrus se.
Baaki ebay zingoy offers me bhi CC ka account no. aur IFSC code diya hai… so jo cashback udhar se aata hai usse bhi directly CC bill pay ho jata hai

add funds from second credit card to freecharge after 7 working days you can transfer it into bank account so you can pay easily.

20k limit in freecharge 5k in paymoney(NEFT) 5k in bookmyshow (NEFT)

once i got a need of 40k instaed of going for any loan i used it.

y i take 40k from my card befroe billing after billing date i am paying 30 k every month as i can afford 10k with out any problem.

i preffer freecharge as they will go imps so we will get money very easy no hassle.

You can do as per your billing date friend. For safe side I added money in 7 different accounts and once I got total money after 7 days. Plan as per your CBC billing date.

Recently citruspsy has stopped transferring money to bank. They are just reverting the amount on the card used. And saying it for safety reasons. You can use this for your card payment.

Suppose your CBC billing date is on 15th on 16 th add money to citrus pay. Take 3 days gap to appear it on your card. And transfer money. If they transfer money pay from account. If they revert that amount. The money to be paid for this billing cycle will reduce. But you can do only 3k. And one account can be added to max 2 citrus pay accounts only. i want to know in freecharge a/c transfer to bank details.

Yes add 10k each in FreeCharge account and after 7 days transfer it into your bank.

If you have time gap of 14 days you can do it from same FreeCharge account. However you can withdraw amount of 20k only in a calender month.

I’ve successfully paid SBI CC dues using DBS wallet and citrus wallet and paid Axis CC dues using citrus, shmart, SBI Buddy and zingoy ebay cashback.

Option found in Speedpay app, you can pay your ICICI CC bill from their wallet amount.

Else make failed transaction forcefully in freecharge by selecting wrong phone number and wrong operator, then you can transfer the refund amount to bank instant.

I have never bought from it and cannot comment on its genuineness. However I have seen comments in the forum that many dimers have successfully got the vouchers they bought from here.

Oh, ok, I reread your reply, I misunderstood your post, I thought you were referring to a direct payment mechanism involving only the CC accounts without involving any intermediary wallet(since all of non-Kyc one’s) are limited to 10K or less.

yes i also confirmd from nitin as he bought from that website but i also read someone got used vouchers. i asked because desidime was involved in promotion with that site so i thought you may know more. thanks for ur help

yesterday someone tried this in dd and freecharge automatically corrected operator and made recharge to go through smoothly

so better avoid this

Smart help and no loophole

If we have to resort to full proof method ,
I use these two method

1. Book any order on amazon, ShopClues etc. And cancel within short time ( but certainly cross 12 am date change ) so cc may debit u in current cycle and reverse the credit as repayment of previous bill. ( risky)

2. Book any ticket on irctc and cancel with refund to bank, it will cost some charges but will be prosses timely, not sure about irctc wallet system.

3. This is hit and trial method with variation of 2nd one, just enter the OTP on desktop and immediately cross the window so that berth will not be allotted however debit amount will be claimed by irctc and refund will be processed by irctc in 7 days.

Only catch is cc policy as explained to trick same cc without any intermidation.

Can you please elaborate on the catch part… I didn’t understand it.
Also, are you sure that refund is counted towards bill payment? Because internally they probably have certain codes for it. Have u tried it this way?

Cm explained to use wallets to refund in cc where the bills r due, so that any fresh credit (includes refunds) is treated as repayment and accounted accordingly.

Trick to use refund/ credit from wallet/ cancellation / adjustment in account as simple credits, so that the requirement to pay the current bill is reduced by same amount. I am sure about irctc and ShopClues as their refund is treated as credit. But, much of the essense (juice) matters in the policy and at system (accounting) with cc, as all use different programmes.

In, short use internet banking query of CC, use any trick for small amount (<500) and see the result on your pending dues, if the trick is successful u can increase the frequency/quantum.

As a community, I’m sure we can collaborate our efforts to compile a list of all major credit card banks which treat refund as repayment?

I would be personally interested in knowing about Citi and HDFC

Hdfc shows online statement and any refund is reduced from current liability
