Brand CEOs usually share trivia about their upcoming smartphones on social media platforms. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has also done the same on Twitter but instead got heavily trolled as he tweeted using an iPhone. The tweet was about the software update for the Realme 3 and the Realme 3i.

It is a common practice for CEOs and celebrities to use the iPhone as it offers better security. However, when an iPhone is used by a rival smartphone company CEO it definitely sends a mixed message. Though the tweet has been taken down, the screenshots are all over the internet further damaging the brand’s reputation.

This is not the first time that a person related to a phone brand was caught using an iPhone. Gal Gadot — the brand ambassador of Huawei once tweeted using an iPhone and Robert Downey Jr, aka Tony Stark has also tweeted about OnePlus (though it was made to look that the mistake was done by the manager), again, using an iPhone.

Is It Bad To Use iPhone?

Using an iPhone or Android phone is left to an individual’s choice. However, when a high-profile personality like Madhav Sheth uses an iPhone to promote the upcoming product it questions the credibility of their own product. Plus, it also doubles as a free publicity tool for Apple.

Speaking of the product, Realme is all set to launch its first affordable flagship smartphone — the Realme X2 Pro in India. The phone is packed with some of the best hardware available in the market, including a 90Hz display, Snapdragon 855+ chipset, and a whopping 50W VOOC fast charging technology.

Realme is also staging for the launch of the Realme 5s, which is expected to be the most affordable 48MP quad-camera smartphone. The device is also confirmed to carry a massive 5,000 mAh battery and is expected to be priced under Rs. 10,000 to compete against the contemporaries like the Redmi Note 8.

Conclusion : Haathi ke Daant khane ke aur dikhane ke aur (trans: Elephant teeth for showing are different and for eating are different)

These brands CEO are using iphones for themselves.

The owner of Realme talks a lot about Apple and how they are inspired by it. He has a lot of shares in Apple. Its probably his favorite stock.
