3s prime is better
Hey, can you throw some light on Xiaomi after sales service in metros. Mi facebook page is full of complaints regarding delayed service, lack of spares etc. Is the situation better in big cities like Bangalore?

I personally didn’t had a chance/had to visit one yet.
One of my friend had a broken plastic cover that’s at the bottom back side of the phone after his phone fell out of his pocket while he was taking it out. Went to the service centre and they requested for 15 days time for a replacement cover but he was sharing the agony of few customers over there who were very furious as the service centre took more than 45 days time for replacement parts to arrive and still wanted more time.
Overall he wasn’t too satisfied with the response so he ended up just putting on a secure case to cover the crack in the cover.
i never experienced any problem with redmi 1s untill it got broken slipping my hand..just want to ensure if redmi note 3 vs redmi3s or 3s prime camera quality is same,i thought of buying redmi3s..i dnt require mobile now but citi offer tempts me..
I am thinking whether to buy redmi 3s or prime or note 3 or to replace the screen redmi 1s.

Redmi 3S is slow, I mean SLOW! App launches take a second or two at times, simple tasks such as disconnecting the call lags at times etc. It becomes a bit smooth if you keep killing the background tasks frequently even though available memory would be greater than 500mb most times.
I never faced such lags or issues with Redmi Note 3, even with the 16gb version. But one thing I loved about Redmi 3S is the compact size, fits in perfectly in hand.
So my choice would be to go with RN3, even if it’s the 16gb version with 2gb ram.

Im user of redmi 1s and now using 3s prime camera is not as satisfying as 1s but its good. Still better than other phone in this price. Speed is good. battery awesome (i was charging 1s twice or thrice a day). If u r buying dnt update the rom. Use miui 7 it give great battery backup. miui8 drains fast.
Phone is very slippery, use a good back cover

No. You should definitely get Prime, if your budget allows. The extra RAM, Memory and Fingerprint are really worth the extra money, especially the fingerprint lock.
And further, if your budget allows, get Redmi Note 3 instead. The Processor is worth the extra money in this case.

The black one looks exactly like an iPhone. 
The white one looks like shit because of the poor screen-to-body ratio. But I really like the black one. iPhone at 11K! 
r3sp camera is good in daylight but in artificial light it is bad but not terrible. U have to focus properly and keep hands steady to get good inddor shots. else itll become blurry

out of redmi 3s and redmi 3s prime, you should choose prime. if other models there, choose according to ur needs.

If u r pro users who knows rooting and custom roms u can buy 3s
to op, yes the camera of redmi 2 and 2 prime are not even close to redmi 1s quality
i have all three of them in my house.
i will suggest to replace the screen.it costed me around 1200 and there hasn’t been any problem thereafter.

Redmi 1S was a heating rod while I was using it last year. Have they fixed it in the later updates?

Redmi 1S was a heating rod while I was using it last year. Have they fixed it in the later updates?
