Redmi K20 Pro or Oneplus 7 Pro .... Pls help me in selecting a mobile

I wish to purchase a new mobile with notch-less display. Budget isn’t a problem but i don’t wish to spend extra if possible.
I wanted to avoid MIUI due to advertisements but i guess that they can be turned off. I have been away from tech news and technology for 2-3 years and i wish to hear expert opinions of dimers about this topic.
Benefits of Oneplus 7 Pro :-
1) Oxygen OS
2) Dual Speakers
3) 90 Hz display …but i am not a heavy phone user. So i doubt if i have any use for it.
Cons of Oneplus 7 Pro :-
1) Size and weight. It seems too large.
Benefits of Redmi K20 Pro :-
1) Price
2) Headphone jack
3) I like Flat displays instead of curved displays. (Easy to apply glass protectors and and flat displays are less fragile)
Cons of Redmi K20 / K20 pro :-
1) Advertisements in MIUI
2) Cartoonish Miui, though MIUI 11 looks promising.
3) Double tap to sleep option is missing. Double tap to wake option is there.
Both phones lack IP rating and have same camera sensor. Camera software seems to be lacking in both phones compared to other branded flagships.
How is the call quality of Xiaomi phones in general ? Call quality/clarity of Oneplus 7 phone is excellent.
My friends are suggesting me to purchase Oneplus because it is considered a brand phone nowadays.

Op7 pro battery is not adequate for heavy usage as per users due to its 90hz refresh display, which consumes more power.
I personally feel k20 Pro is a good and economical alternative OP 7 pro.
K20 pro will me more value too the money , and quality of the mi phone’s is also great . Even the 5000 rs Redmi 2 I bought 3.5 years earlier is still working 😂

Still I would suggest K20 Pro considering price to performance ratio.

Base variant is expected to launch at 25K
256GB storage version should be available in 30-31K range
Since you don’t like miui, I would recommend op7 pro.
Check that 90hz display in hand if you have a croma store nearby.
Your listed pros and cons for both devices are on point.
I personally prefer oxygen os over any custom android skin.
Camera is a disappointment for that 50k budget though.
If punch holes are okay go for s10 with some bank offers.
Or else just wait for the next Galaxy note launch

I will most probably order OnePlus pro by today evening. (They should have included that headphone jack)
I live in a small town, So i won’t be able to visit Croma and prime sale will end tonight. I am waiting for Samsung to launch a notch-less phone and i will upgrade to that phone next year. But i need a new phone immediately.From resale point of view, Redmi K20 seems very tempting. It is priced right and it is an excellent phone for a normal user. Its even outperforms k20 pro in non-gaming applications.
Lol no comparison with oxygen os is damn gud using it. Too gud for gaming.

I think 1750 cashback might be mentioned at the last order page. I am not exactly sure about terms and conditions of the discount. I purchased using ICICI credit card.
K20 will get a lot of good custom ROMs so no need to worry about MIUI
Do custom ROMs impact battery life or modify behavior of hardware (camera app, sound quality etc ?)
I installed a custom ROM on my friend’s nexus device 3-4 years ago. But i haven’t used any custom ROM myself.
I purchased Oneplus 7 Pro few hours ago.

Now that you purchased the OnePlus 7 Pro anyways, just see what K20 Pro has to offer and the pricing as well. If you feel K20 Pro would suffice your needs and offers a much better value then go for it and cancel the OnePlus 7 Pro order.
You have already listed the pros and cons for each device perfectly well, it’s all about what’s more important for you now.
