As expected, Xiaomi has made official the Redmi Note 4 smartphone. The device is powered by MediaTek’s Deca-Core Helio X20 SoC (clocked up to 2.1GHz), and sports a 5.5-inch full HD display.

Xiaomi changes the SOC to Snapdragon for Indian version. So expect a snapdragon 6XX Soc on the indian version. I am contemplating this buy too replacing ‘THE SHITE’ Lyf handset.

U r right buddy, they launch with SD in India, but in this case we already have rn3 with sd650, so if they put sd650 in it it would be almost same as rn3, so its unlikely this will come in India at all

There are other variants of SD 6XX series and either way I don’t think there is much difference between RN3 and 4.
In the new gen there r only 2 sd650, and sd652, 652 has 2 extra a72 cores

Any news abt the successor to SD650/52? Cortex A73 touting, SD660/62 on Samsung’s 14nm LPP process will be sweet! Hope the clock speeds net a decent increase as well.Qualcomm equipped Redmi Note 4 should be released in India, most probably, around March next year.
How many phones do you people buy in a year??

No mediatek for xiaomi in India .it will be surely a China only model since I don’t think they can further differentiate between models . It can launch a 652 xiaomi redmi note 4 for around 14k but doesn’t make much sense to buy it unless there’s something else to back it up with . Ill rather buy a mi max with 650 rather than redmi note 4 with 652 . I’m waiting for nexus 5x prices to drop it will be a worth phone for the development aspect of it .hope for 6p to show @ 200 $ during the black Friday sale . Will grab 1 for sure if it shows up this time and as usual moto e for 10$
