Reliance Jio Soft Launch Can Be Expected Soon, Says Credit Suisse
Well priced
But validity should be reasonable
Time to say good bye to airtel
I will hold on to my Idea connection for a few months after launch and see how well Jio would perform. As of now it is under beta testing with limited users and I don’t see the network to be perfect yet.
There were times when I wasn’t able to either make outgoing calls nor get incoming calls on my Jio sim even though it showed full signals and data connectivity was working. The 4G speeds are not very different from that of Airtel either but one thing better is the signal strength in my locality.

+1
C***** bana rahe hain 6 saal se, ab to 5G bhi aagaya, just in testing phases though, so they better keep the prices low or their 1lakh crore or so investment will take an awfully long time to recover
Btw Airtel still sucks, even after that 4G girls’ ad, dunno why the ads are liked either, it’s not like the girl is speaking the truth wrt some of those tall claims by failtel
I understand your frustration. I have been waiting for Reliance jio to launch for a while. Unfortunately the place i stay now doesn’t have a wired broadband feasibility . Airtel 3g works great ( 15 mbps) here but the sad part is, i end paying around 3k every month for 30GB 3g data from Airtel. I’m 100% sure that JIO will price their plans well to gain market traction. Since Airtel/Vodafone is known to provide decent service, nobody is going to switch to JIO unless plans are priced well. From what i read online, JIO will be much much cheaper than Airtel. Competition will also force the likes of Airtel/Vodafone to price their plans lower.

Many have got these promotional sims from JIO & probably corporate tieups, even my cousin sister got one & her husband is in a newspaper publication.
