This was to be expected, why do people want to endlessly abuse the system? I’d say 4GB in a day is more than enough data, I don’t even use that much on my 25Mbps hathway broadband connection though I do go over 4GB on days when I’m downloading something important

Moral of the story ~ if you need more/uninterrupted data go for wired broadband, if you can’t afford it then stop freeloading or if there’s no other (wired) option in your area then it’s just bad luck.

But its truly unfair for LYF customers who paid for the preview offer. For others who got free its fair.

LYF Customers are fooled ?? Reliance can never stop fooling people! Bad Decision by JIO, any how last day to use this Dec 31 this year!

i still dont get why lyf customers are fooled. i may agree for the recent buyers of lyf phone.
earlier i was using mtnl 3g for 1199 unlimited a month and till now i have used 4 months of 4g for 6800(wind 4 cost) + 6000 minutes of calling(atleast 3000rs). no need to say about flame buyers

You’re among few of those who bought lyf handset too early. But lately as it gained more popularity many users bought it very recently thinking that they’ll get everything truly unlimited for 90 days irrespective of its commercial launch date. In fact people are still buying/activating their preview offers. I believe, the people who’ve not completed their 90 days preview offer easily outnumbers those who’ve enjoyed it for full 3 months and even got extensions too.

But as per their site all existing preview users will also be migrated to their new welcome offer(with 4GB limitations). Its fraud to say the least because almost everyone bought lyf handsets mainly for 90 days unlimited offer.

They’ll definitely face the wrath of lyf users on 5th sept.

check my above comment , i also clearly mentioned about the same bsnl pack and jio pack is far better as bsnl gives u 270 minutes for 135 and jio gives unlimited for 150

I agree. It is a well known fact that inactive/infrequent users lower the ARPU but you can’t deny the fact that there are lot of primary sim users who don’t spend more than 50 or 100 a month.

BSNL and Aircel plans are just two that came off my mind. As someone mentioned, there are other operators too like Telenor & Docomo who provide plans which are better suited for customers with limited voice usage. Now most of the operators will come up with better voice plans to retain customers because they have no other choice.

As for multiple sims, not just dimers everyone will still hold more than one sim
