Reliance Jio Prices Revealed: 75GB 4G Data & 4500 Mins Call Time for Only Rs. 200!

(Note from my side – It could be a old news for some, but definitely worth sharing since it was not shared on DD)
If you remember, Reliance had launched it 4G LTE services, Reliance Jio, back in December only to its employees, as well as some Android powered smartphones, LYF series. Promises were also made about full rollout of services to customers by April 2016 and it looks like Reliance is on track.
According to Credit Suisse, a financial services giant, Reliance is preparing for a soft launch of its superfast 4G services in India in a week or two. The only caveat is that this is a beta expansion and only select few users will be able to get their hands on Jio sim cards as well as Mi-Fi hotspot devices.
The reports said, “Our visits to Reliance Digital stores in Mumbai revealed the stores are preparing for a possible soft launch of Jio’s 4G connections soon.” They also revealed that store staff is getting trainings on the product launch and features.
The updated infrastructure at Reliance Digital stores also indicated that the equipment have been placed in order to quickly enroll the customers and hand out Jio sim cards and Mi-Fi devices. The machines will be able to scan the Identity Documents(IDs) and immediately finalize all formalities.
Pricing of sim cards and Mi-Fi devices
The prices of sim cards to be offered to customers have not been revealed yet but it seems they will be slightly more expensive than what are being offered to its employees. According to reports, the sim cards will be available at a cost of Rs 200 and will offer humongous 75GB of 4G data and 4500 minutes of call time. And yes, it will some freebies as well!
It is not clear whether these are promotional launch prices or whether the prices will change later. It has also not been confirmed if data packs and calling features would be active once the grace period ends.
Coming to Jio Mi-Fi, devices will come with data and VoLTE(Voice over LTE) priced at around Rs 700 – Rs 800. 40GB of data will be provided with three months validity along with recharge plans upto 200GB.
Reliance Jio is very much ready to disrupt the 4G scene in India, currently dominated by Airtel and Vodafone. Users in Reliance circles have been waiting eagerly for the launch and it is so close to being reality now. 4G tests have shown satisfactory results and speeds in real-life scenarios should also be at par with these.

The offer seems fake. If reliance does this then they will dig their own grave.
Airtel is doing unfair with people. Their data plans are costlier and others follow them. Even the broadband plans are costly. Expecting a cut throat competition in 4G segment.

This might only be a launch offer for once and after those three months the pricing might be different.

reliance making its image on its own like as when they release gsm sim than on that time they credit daily 20rs in every sim of reliance(practically i used that offer too but 10 min wala atleast half year)
now jio having reliance brother not anil… they have some strategy… which may be of bandwidth and high speed connection copitition

RCom CDMA users would be offered 4G SIMs from next week. The SIMs would work on Band 5 (using RCDMA & MTS spectrum) Band 3 & Band 40 (using RJio Spectrum). It is rumoured that RJio may also soft launch simultaneously. However, some informed sources say that RJio launch may happen later.
A video has been leaked online which shows the upcoming website of Reliance Jio. According to the video, anyone buying a LYF handset will get 75 GB of free 4G data, 4500 minutes and 9000 SMS with validity of 90 days. The offer is valid on the entire range of LYF handsets starting from the cheapest one costing Rs 5,000. It is also rumoured that someone who does not buy Lyf handsets and only buys SIM would be charged Rs. 100-200 with same free benefit for 90 days. Similarly, if someone were to buy the Mifi device for Rs 1,999, he would get 75 GB of free data valid for three months, but no voice or free SMS.

Sorry to say but Jio wont cut low prices for 4G services instead they will compete with Other major players of 4G in terms of QUALITY OF SERVICES.
So stop dreaming about low prices by Jio because they are here for business not charity (Always Remember it).
It will be more or less equal to other major 4G players in the market.

Don’t create new threads for faltu R-JIO, they are fooling from 2014 about their launch date and now about their pricing
Reliance would price this plan only when you buy their cheap handset for damn high prices or maybe for 2-3 months and then would resume their unethical business

Thought you would know that the only thing unanswered when somebody says “iPad x” is whether they have the cellular model or the WiFi-only model. Since @raghupro was already talking about putting a SIM in the iPad, even that question was already answered.

RJIO is playing like Railways. The ‘launch’ date has been delayed again to september 2016…Sorry for the inconvenience caused … (you will get another date for delay). Earlier the plan for mifi device was Rs.700 with 10GB free data.
The hype around the Jio has been so much and expectations sky rocket after hearing every delay; They might decide to no attract customers with low pricing initially.. They will prove the early on boarders they are providing best service and later if they can’t acheive target they may very well introduce disruptive pricing circle wise.. (Like Aritel did in Kerala)

I was really hoping to get one sim for my iPad but found out only today that iPad Air 2 does not support these bands
Edit: I didn’t check the setting well in the morning but now I noticed that LTE was switched off in settings. It’s working great on iPad
