Reliance Jio to stop issuing Jio 4G SIM cards for a few days
In what make come as a shock to Reliance Jio fans (especially people hoping to get a Jio SIM card soon) across India, the company has temporarily paused the process of issuing SIM cards.
According to reports, Reliance Jio has already clocked in more than 6 million live users on the Jio 4G connection. This figure apparently just includes LYF and Samsung smartphone users and doesn’t quite include the dozens of other brands that were recently included to the Jio Preview offer.
With the inclusion of more smartphone brands for the Jio Preview offer, the demand for Jio SIM cards are sharply increased. This has led to a delay in activations of the Jio 4G connection. To create a buffer for the demand, Reliance Jio has apparently decided to stop issuing SIM cards for the next 4-5 days.
While the Reliance Digital and Xpress Mini stores are expected to stop issuing SIM cards, the smaller stores dealing with Reliance Jio may still able to offer the Jio 4G SIM card till stocks last. The Reliance Jio 4G Preview offer is currently opened to Samsung, Sony, LG, Asus, Panasonic, Micromax, Karbonn, Xolo, Gionee, Lava, Videocon, Sansui, YU, TCL and Alcatel 4G smartphones.

The sims are OSS at most of the places. The retailers have bought most of it and selling them at Rs.100. It will available again in 2-3 days. Keep calm.
