I am not 100% sure who (but definitely it was someone with a forum badge/ honorary medallion) who had mentioned something to the effect of blocking numbers (at-least incoming voice calls) from a 'user defined' series.
The Dimer had educated as to how the +91140××××××× series is reserved for telemarketers, spammers.
And then the Dimer also gave some intrinsic way of blocking all incoming calls from such series, on their specific brand of device.
If anyone recollects how this can be effected without use of third party applications, on Samsung A12 or similar phones... then please do enlighten.
Senior citizen relative is at the receiving end of too many spam calls, and not every number can be blocked by her or she just forgets.

My aunt is not getting calls from just 0140××××××× but also from mobile numbers (but first 3-4 digits are same, in all those numbers).

Well I was not that memeber as far as I can recall but here's a bit of my search. Hopefully the phone is used with samsung default dialer.
So here's a link of samsung website to block no. & there I can see a option "match criterion" under add no. which hopefully will let you set the range or specific series to block.
I don't have a samsung phone so couldn't test it out myself so maybe give it a try or someone else with samsung phone can verify.
