Purchased Mi tv box on 20th july, seller mentioned price as 21$ but actual cost is 69$ now the item is stuck at Indian customs saying that “retained by customs for unspecified reason” I want to know whether I’ll get the product or not? If yes I’ll get it means how much duty I’ve to pay? Approx.

Contact seller and ask him as to why he has shown prices as undervalued?? Ask for return
Btw how much have you paid
Customs has to stop the goods coming from China , as they may be radioactive , or harmful in general sense 
Sometimes they hold the package for sometime may be a month before they release it
You may have to pay extra customs
In the past we have to produce original bill to get it cleared no idea about current situation
Its been a while since I purchased something from overseas
@@@SudhirG@@ you have to pay custom duty for sure if your shipment is holded by customs and if shipment is packed in a carton box then surely they will open the box and custom will be charged. But incase shipment is light weight and in courier bag or polybag then they may release your shipment w/o tempering it.
Don’t worry, as you said it is only 20th July, customs unspecified reason is normal if they have doubt with the product , so expect you have to pay customs during delivery of the product 😊, and that might not be around Rs 500/- I guess,. So, please be patient, don’t get worried, wait some more days, you’ll get it and u have to pay customs in 99% of such cases
One of my friend got mi box delivery after 40 days but it isn’t sent to customs but shipping is slow
One of my other friend bought mi box, his package was strucked in customs for a week and released, he paid 381 Rs as customs duty.. So you also will get it, don’t worry
My mi box I bought on November end 2016, luckily I also hadn’t had to pay any customs 😊😊

Damn…why the hell we’ve to fear from customs we pay money and still live in fear and they have power to do anything to our products. How can we end this corruption and make everything TRANSPARENT so nobody in customs can STEAL OR do DISHONESTY ?

But u dont file tds returns which is required for every single purchase paid in forex. Every thing is online & it is quite easy for department to track non filers. Its matter of time b4 scrutiny & penalty 1lac per non-compliance is imposed on shoppers.
But I have doubt, if u bought 10 Rs app on Google play via debit card, it charges in forex, then what if u paid the same via net banking?? What they do??

Finally bought Z69 Android tv box with 3gb Ram and 32gb Rom/Android 7.1 and Amlogic s905x processor at Rs 3400 approx from gearbest with priority line shipping method. Any idea in how many days it will reach and what about custom duty. And if it would be, what will be mode of payment.

I purchased mobile and it is in customs from last 36 days.But they are not delivering product.According to google,many have mentioned that they are changing the product… Otherwise they will keep product as retained and will not deliver product anymore.Is there any way to get the product?
