Getting grofers family farm ghee / cow ghee at around 350/kg + 10% off with coupon
But have never used it earlier, so please tell your review if you have used it earlier
Would try not to use it for cooking but only for ceremonial purposes, so tell according to that also .
TIA !!

If it’s Grofers’ own brand, I wouldn’t buy it even for ceremonial purpose.
Here in Delhi, they have intentionally removed all popular brands from grocery items and pushing their own brand. They know people have to buy at this time no matter what and they are intentionally doing this. Won’t support such bastards.

Yes i know that, but i tried pulses from family farm and found them really good (better than bb royal and much better than market quality)
So thought to give them a chance, other branded ghees are inflated on bigbasket (500-600 rupees a kg)
And even after paying that much i am not sure if i am getting the real deal

Having enough stock of branded ghee for consumption purposes, so thought to conserve that for cooking and buy this one for non-cooking uses

Go ahead then. Doesn’t hurt to try a brand for just 350, not a big amount to worry.

If you have used Patanjali or govardhan then you won’t like family farm ghee… it doesn’t hurt in current circumstances to order for use other than eating…go for it but don’t have high expectation

Yeah , using Govardhan / Ashirvaad swasti / Amul ghee for regular use

They source it locally and sell under their brand name, so quality depends on your local market ghee provider. In bangalore, quality is comparable to amul and patanjali.

Don’t buy any grofers brand iten where mixing is possible. Ghee is the product where maximum mixing is done. So don’t buy ghee, catchup etc.  You can very well go for pulses

Not trustworthy. Buy patanjali, amul, or the best is to make ghee at home from full cream milk.

I have tried 2 Grofers ghee in 3xx range but they were pretty bad in quality. I will not suggest using them. Devasaya was like dalda, Grofers Mother’s choice was better than Devasaya but still bad. Now I will stick to Amul.

Ghee only for ceremonial purposes?? Are you serious ? In modern age dairy industry is pure cruelty.. this is not ancient times or villages where people care for cows as family members – instead they are injected with hormones to produce milk all year and their calves are denied mothers milk.

That’s the harsh reality, most temples too used packed ghee only, so no option

This happens everywhere…Spencer is pushing its smart choice brand which costs 1.5times compared to other companies.

Buy from local shops. No need to give money to these folks
