Revised Guide for using Android Emulators

In my previous guide I had strived to make it noob-proof,to cover almost every possible scenario. It seems all I ended up doing was to complicate it further. U know what they say abt the road to hell being paved with good intentions & all that…..
Anyways without further ado…
For the time being I will concentrate only on Bluestacks as its the only one that works with FC. Anyways operating Youwave is child’s play.
Rooted/cracked Bluestacks 0.9.6 (removed from official site): www.mediafire.com/download/y287bsy7zio4msg/Blue... abt 250MB .
It does not prompt for purchase nor does it download any apps on its own.

P.S. Dont mess around with the experimental features.
After every recharge
1.Run BS Tweaker as Administrator
2.Exit(Full Stop)BS*
3.Delete Data & SDCard Files(click OK on both)
4.Start BS
5.After it is completely launched,click to change GUID,Google Advertising ID & Android ID one after the other.
6.Exit(Full Stop)BS so that diff. values can be overwritten
7. Now Start BS & do ur stuff.
8. Rinse & repeat after every recharge.

if its unrooted then how can i get many coupon (samsung reward);-}
So when are you uploading a rooted installer so we can try the new version? I would do it myself, but I am feeling lazy.

Bear in mind that Xposed framework does nt seem to work in this version(works in 0.9.8 and earlier). YMMV.

To use xposed .. i should download Bluestacks 0.9.6 rooted?

There is one issue though. When I try to login to Gaana, I get the message saying that Google Play Services is Out of date. I tried to find Google Play services in Play Store, but I found this GServiceFix. Is this the same? I installed this but I got the same issue. Any solution?

It will work in other versions of 0.9 series as well. My recommendation is to stick to 0.9.6 for the time being.

In case its Youwave u need 070.

There is no way to create Portable Android for the time being. Atleast until someone finds a way to make BSTHD drv run in such a manner. Many clever minds hv failed to do so.
P.S. U can hv a portable instance of BS in a VM provided that VT-X is available. But performance is not pretty even in a beastly config. P.P.S. There are other emulators that can be run in a portable manner. Just that they are not as elegant as BS & the all-important IMEI support is lacking

Every time, I Stop the BS and change all the IDs as mentioned, I have to re-install Google Play services and Gaana right? I’m just searching as Google Play Services in Google and I get the link for this in Play Store, so I’ll just update that, it works.
I’m able to get 2 Coupons so far in Gaana! First one I gave to my friend who was very much in need of a recharge and next one I tried. Thank you again!

How to install Xposed Framework?
I install it as normally, then Install/update it and then bluestacks takes forever to start.
Can anyone help?

IMEI support lacking in which emulators?? to my knowledge, even youwave has IMEI hardcoded in the VDI files. have u tried Andy yet? i want to try it but couldn’t find its offline installer and dunno if it supports changing IMEI.
Youwave doesn’t allow ARM apps so it’s becoming useless…

P.S. Backup ur Root.fs(BS Tweaker will prompt to do this) bf attempting to install Xposed. That way if anything goes wrong u can simple restore it without having to reinstall BS.
P.P.S If the one u are using is by Dubsteam better get rid of it. Other users hv confirmed presence of malware.
I wish I could share the automated Xposed installation utility.

In Youwave the IMEI is not numerical . Hence it does nt work with Freecharge. Andy supports IMEI but requires manual intervention. Once downloaded u can backup Andy installer and reuse it.

A bunch of redirecting malware(.exe) keeps getting downloaded, on trying to download the pdf..
If you could please upload the pdf to Google Drive, would be a great help

I saw your thread when you posted it but couldn’t find it when searched.
Yes, that bs which I have is by Dubsteam although my quick heal didn’t find any malware. I’ll delete that one and install one by you. Let’s see how that all goes.

Bluestacks has hit version 1.0. Man this one is….. fast. Much better app compability esp. wrt to 0.9.7 and even 0.8 series.
Hopefully will see a public release soon.

Mcent works or atleast last time I had used. One of the highest paying apps if nt the highest.
Official offline installer for 0.9.8 is out. Obviously unrooted. GApps built in. U can however remove the purchase window using BS Tweaker. I will upload rooted version later.
