Safe custody or temporary deactivation of your DTH and Landlines

Dear all,
Many of us may be going for summer vacations and may need to temporarily deactivate or keep in safe custody our DTH and landlines. It is possible with every service provider. Do not waste away your subscription and avail this service. For example Dish TV the details are as follows:
Temporary deactivate your DishTV for a minimum of 15 days and
further in multiples of 15 days i.e. 15, 30, 45 etc. You can avail this
service for unlimited times in a year however please note that your DishTV
should be in a ACTIVE state. Your request will not be processed if your
account is deactivated.
Temporary deactivation service will be charged as below:
Rs .25 for less than equal to 3 Months.
Rs. 100 Greater than 3 Months.
Moreover, kindly confirm us before one day when you want to temporary
deactivate your Dish TV connection.
I had in the past availed safe custody of tata sky and BSNL landlines. I thought to flash this piece of info for use by many who are unknown to this fact.

Just a quick question for DTH -
This temporary suspension is for users who have balance left in their account. If you a little or no balance, we can leave the connection as it is, Right?
It is for those who has good or considerable balance and will not be using it for days and don’t want to lose heavy subscription charges per day, can safe keep and save per day deduction by paying minimal safe keeping service charge.
